Just some picks

1. Minix: Yet Another Operating System. I switched to Linux two years ago, still not fully comfortable with it, but yet I am thinking about new horizons. I downloaded the live CD to give it a try.
2. The Epoch. Now that is interesting: Unix Time or POSIX time started at January 1, 1970. I read about it in Linux Format. A Unix Timestamp and Converter Tool is the Epoch Converter, I copied and pasted this link @1235593849 UET
